On one hand, it's really surprising that they actually brought in Mike Pollock to voice his lines in-person with the other actors, since he lives in New York while the rest of the cast is in LA. On the other, Why did they replace Kate Higgins as Tails?! D:

Her performance as him in the last few games was great. The voice fit him perfectly, and he often got some of the best lines in the games. The replacement seems to be fine, but it also seems like they're just having her do an impression of Kate, so why not just keep her?

Travis Willingham seems to be having the time of his life as Knuckles though, and that's great to see! Though, a part of me keeps imagining those lines coming from Roy Mustang x3

God, that trailer for the TV series is godawful. Really uninspired and cheap animation that looks like something a "GREATEST COMEDY OF THE YEAR" Pixar wannabe would spew out. Game seems ~alright except Battle Toad Knuckles, but since ex-Naughty Dog employees are working on it I bet the gameplay will be really good.

But yeah that fuggin trailer man, gross. The dialogue for the game sounds hella confusing, sports tape all over, Tails having an electric whip while in the air, what the hell were they thinking. Red Button/Naughty Dog dudes better do the gameplay justice.

The "electric whip" you're talking about is called the Enerbeam and Sonic, Amy, and Knuckles have been confirmed to use it as well. And the writing is obviously NOT confusing! You complained about the sports tape when according to this really interesting behind the scenes trailer shows that they gave them that for a reason.

I really enjoyed the trailer they put out. I nostalgia'd a little bit because I enjoyed Stormhawks when that was a thing; the style reminded me a lot of that. Aside from that, the redesigns are a WELCOME change for me. Knuckles being the tough guy makes sense now that he's actually bigger than Sonic and not literally the exact same size. That's a personal knitpick tho.

At any rate, I'm excited to see what they do with Sonic Boom, both in the game and in the animated series!

I can't either, nor wait for this thing period. By the way, someone make a post when the game is available for pre-order on Amazon.
