So I was scouring the web for Klonoa tidbits, for really no reason other than procrastination (woops X_X ). Anyways, I came upon the following set of images:

I was quite intrigued. I'd never seen some of these images before, and others I had seen implemented into other official Klonoa medium, but never with clean backgrounds and such large image size. What I particularly find interesting is the images of the various citizens of the different kingdoms. You've seen them before, but never in this much detail.

I also found this curious heart creature. Does it appear somewhere in the game and I'm forgetting, or did it not end up even making the game?

Where did you find these pictures? Google search?
Maybe the models are ripped and rendered by a skillful Klonoa fan.

Wow that is pretty good. I wonder how they ripped the models off the disc like that.

The funny thing is that I actually recognize some of these, yet I forgot where I found them the first time...

I've seen these images before, but they were very small. I'm glad there are high quality, large versions uploaded for me to add on the wikia.

They might have been assets for strategy guides. Interesting.

The catch is to get the large sizes, you need to join as a member, which I did, for Klonoa science!

I also found the majority of the environment photos on this website:

which has some of the same renders as well. I did some reverse Google Image searches for some of these pictures and there were very few to no other results. I would agree that they were probably the original image files used in some of the guide books.

Yeah, these images can be seen used in various media such as the old Klonoa 2 website, the strategy guides, and the game manual. That heart creature though intrigues me too! It must be an unused item of some sort. Maybe an old design for the mirror fairy?
