I headcanon that Guntz is an adult. There's no way a teen would hold a gun like the one in DCT

Based on the information we got from the spinoff games, Guntz is supposed to be a legendary bounty hunter. That would imply that he could be in his prime adult years 

His comically large guns are like that by design, I'd believe Guntz has enough experience to handle them just fine
