"I WILL KILL THEM! AND I WILL KILL ANYONE WHO GETS IN MY WAY!"

"I will help you Guntz"

Guntz then turned around and gave him a malicious look.

[Matiri]

"But why would you?"

"Because I feel like I have and want to help you. But right now I think we should try to have a good night sleep, we'll think of a plan tomorrow morning."

"Yeah, I guess we should, it's not like we can leave now any way. Good night."

And so Guntz left towards his bedroom. Klonoa decided to sleep on the big chair in the living room, he figured it wasn't a good idea to sleep in Butz's bedroom. After getting himself confortable, Huepow jumped out of the ring.

"What are you doing?"

"Helping out a friend."

"You do know that he plans on killing his father's murderer when we find him, right?"

"I'll think on what to do when we get to that point, okay. Right now I just need some sleep."

"Fine, good night."

"Just please don't do anything that you will regret."   He said to himself before going back in the ring.

Klonoa could not sleep due hearing guntz cry and yell all night about his father's demise.

Guntz... we will get him.
Said klonoa to himself almost like a prayer or a vow.

Matiri, yes I do. Mostly changes that remove unnecessary\super silly things that don't fit.

The next morning, Klonoa awoke, but still felt incredibly tired because of last night.

[Matiri]

Eventually Guntz just decided to get up and migrate to the living room. They noticed each other and Guntz took a seat, facing Klonoa. They just sat there for a good minute in silence until Guntz broke it.

You said you understood what I was going through... Who did you loose?

He figured now was as good a time as any to answer that question, so that it would not be brought up again.

 : My grandpa... I was coming back from a trip, my house was in sight. But unfortunatly, he was hiding something that others wanted to get there hands on. To get it, they blew up the house with him in it and took what they came for from underneath the ashes. And that monster had the nerve to laugh at him. In a way you got lucky, I was there to see it, and I was too far away to do anything...

Klonoa could take it no more as he finally broke down and cried.

Right anyways...

"I'm sorry to hear that, Klonoa." Guntz replied.

[Matiri]

 : "It... it's alright, kinda wanted to get that question out of the way anyway."

"What about the rest of your family? Any parents or uncles?"

 : "I never knew anything about them. I tried asking my grandpa but he would always ignore the question and change the subject, I stopped trying after a while.


Does that mean we can't bring back anything that got left out of the fanfic, such as the red jacket?

The red jacket is referenced as the "dark red jacket" Batz is wearing when he finds Klonoa in the forest. So I still found a way to use it. :P

"Hmm..." Guntz looked at Klonoa. "You look tired, would you like some coffee?"

"i don't like coffee. Do you have anything else?"
"...ill see"

Klonoa found how guntz hesistated to be a little weird considering the context of the coversation.

[Matiri]

"Well, there's also peppermint tea. Do you want that?"

"Sure."

After a short while, Guntz came back with a cup of coffee for himself and a cup of peppermint tea for Klonoa. He then took a seat where he was before.

 : So for how long have you and your dad been living down here? 

He said followed by him taking a small sip off his cup and being pleasantly surprised by it's flavor.
