The only time I'll buy them incomplete is if they're in like the $5 bin or something and it's a game I really really want
I buy digital sometimes but most of the time I prefer physical copies if I can get them

That is unless they charge a tonne of money. I might as well get a physical copy then, just to justify the purchase...

When the game is for a console, I'll seek a physical copy whenever possible (unless the price is too unreasonable).
For PC games however, I usually just buy a digital version (unless a digital version is unavailable).

I buy my games on digital whenever I can... Mostly because I lose all my physical games in the wasteland that is my living room.

i buy lots of my games used, so sometimes they're complete, others not so much.
i will save up to buy new games every now and then (like Splatoon)
and i'll buy digital if that's the only way to get the game, like Ace Attorney Dual Destinies and Shantae

i used to go always full when possible, but once 3DS games started having really bad manuals i just stopped in general. that's only for physical of course, when it comes to digital games i just buy what looks good and hope it is good.
