Who knows. I never played any Katamari Damacy (unless you count playing it as the audience in Twitch Plays Pokémon, when between runs they usually play Katamari Damacy and another games, in that case, only one,) so I don't know if this series made any references to other Bandai Namco franchises.
But since I'm interested in this game, I'll see if I notice any reference while playing it. But if this franchise did never had any reference in its games, I can't see why with this enhanced version will be different.
Also, friendly reminder, if someone wants to look into this game, it looks like it will launch the exact same day as Super Smash Bros Ultimate, so expect it to be overshadowed by Smash.
