Destructoid reports on a rumor that Ubisoft's Beyond Good and Evil 2, now under the working title of Beyond Good and Evil: The Predjudices of Philosophers, is being funded by Nintendo as an NX-exclusive.

It's being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. Same as the first one. In fact, that was known for years.

Interesting rumor. Would kinda get my hopes up for this, but...I think 8 years was long enough at this point. If we're getting anything at this point, I'd like to see a little more than 'We're still working on this' after all that time of on/off development...officially-speaking.

Given that the rumor states it's coming 2017, it likely won't be long now.

Oooooh :D THat's a REALLY neat rumor, and it's quite interesting that Ubisoft's action may actually confirm it. I totally need to finish Beyond Good and Evil first because getting interested into this, though - it IS a pretty darn amazing game, after all.

I thought Ubisoft's relationship with Nintendo was strained at best?
