Popplio needs more love!

He's like Oshawott, nothing loved them at first.

I can't wait to use that sick owl. One of my favorite starters in awhile, and that's saying a bit because the ones from gen's 5 and 6 were all pretty lame to me (except for Oshawatt). I'm still not a big fan of the 3D models much. Gen 5 had some of the most fluent and beautiful sprite animation the series had seen and gave all the monsters a lot of personality. Gen 6 they all looked stiff and a bit boring to me. Even the Genius Sonority Gamecube games game the monsters a lot of character compared to Gen 6 (By the way they should really make a new Genius Sonority game, they're so good). I think it's just the 3DS being an awkward system to render polygons on. Whenever I see models on that system they always look off.

Still looks like a great game though.

Seems like there will be bystanders that will watch your battles with other trainers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there another region already based on Hawaii in Pokemon? I wonder why they would have another similar region to it. Still really interesting though. Gotta go to EBGames first thing in the morning when they come out to get Pokemon Sun >w<
