"とうげ" or "峠" means "mountain pass", and a pass is locally the highest point on that route. (from wikipedia) Anyone has a idea for "サクラとうげ"?
Another thing - Chipple calls Klonoa "アニキ", literally "big bro". But I'm sure calling someone "アニキ" in Japanese is a bit different from calling the same person "big brother" in English. I guess it means Chipple always follows Klonoa in this game.

Typing Japanese can be slow at the beginning, sorry to keep you guys/girls waiting.
What a polite girl Lolo is. She even add the honorific "さん" to familiar people's name when referring to them, including Klonoa.

Awesomeface. It'll probably help cut down on time too, whatever works for you guys. And yeah, great idea to keep posting that, so then others can also give their opinion about it too.

OMG I DID IT AND OHBOY MY ARMS ARE TIRED (not perfectly completed though ,additionally there are other chapters have to be done)

When Lolo refers to Chipple, she adds "くん". "くん" is for boys or male friends.
No honorific is added when she refers to Popka.

Did some more research, here's a brief but messy explanation :
Chipple is a friend to Lolo, and Popka is a closer one. (or Popka is not suitable for any honorific.)
Lolo has some special feelings toward Klonoa, like respecting. (I also mentioned before Chipple always follows Klonoa. WOW, Klonoa is really a popular kid in this game)

Hey, all! Here are my translations of the Breezegale script from scratch, one that's literal and 'Aoi-like' and another that I interpreted more for smoother reading and for the patch. If you have any comments or suggestions for the script, feel free to post them!

A Quick Note:
Anything that is put in hard brackets [] means that whatever is in there is not yet set in stone and is subject to change. Any suggestions for changes are welcome.

Another Long Note:
You'll notice that I have included two translations. One that is sloppy but somewhat literal and another that is interpereted in the way that I would translate the game. This is because the Japanese language is different from English in thought, feeling, concept, and grammar/syntax, and literally translating Japanese in a way that makes sense is impossible. Please read both to understand roughly the concept from the original Japanese version and the way I would translate the game.

Also:
Pointed brackets like these <> will represent a block of text.
These usually require the A or B button to continue, and the text will clear from the screen after the end of each block.

About [Pause]:
These [Pause] tags often indicate a brief moment when the game will stop before continuing with the dialog or Klonoa's narration. These tags also act as a trigger for certain actions characters will make during cutscenes such as jumping or changing expressions, so, for the sake of the romhacker, I decided to include these in my translation post.
