No I'm kidding, I think it probably very likely has to do with all the dream-splosion stuff going on, like you said.
That little stream of dream..s..over there to the left makes me think that maybe it's less so people making their own dreamworlds, like consciously, and more like people's actual dreams/fantasies that already existed and Noctis Sol kept? And they're all connected by that stream, which is how Klonoa got there in the first place?? Like Guntz being the boss of this amusement park place. I think he's probably egotistical enough to dream about that.

Aside from the incredibly goofy name, the fact that this is the world of Guntz's mind intrigues me. After all, Guntz has had some serious trauma in his life, and the possibility of that physically manifesting would be a great plot element. Maybe Klonoa will be forced to run from Guntz and try to find his missing memories. Really, there's endless possibilities for this.

Oh I think it's very likely that he's mostly alone in this little world of his, if not completely.

Guntz is definitely childish but I kinda think he's more.. I would describe him as an aloof cynical brat, to be honest. Endearingly, of course; I love the guy.
But not taking into account his development in Heroes, he's really self-centered. And full of himself. Thus, GUNTZLAND (buy your tickets now)
Also just my..really fuzzy, fractured opinon haha it's been a while since I looked at canon material with this guy so I could be really off-base.
