What is the most concerning thing about Klonoa games?
« on: July 21, 2023, 10:54:07 pm »
After you were done with a game, is there something that left you concerned, worried, such?  :| Actually, it doesn't need to be just after you're done with the game, but, any point, any game.
Is this a forum they forgot, or has the forum forgot them?

Worried? Now that’s an interesting adjective to use for a Klonoa game. The one worry I can think of right now is the worry that a lot of plot points in the games will never be further explained or built upon. Stuff like Goddess Claire, King of Sorrow, the very existence of Phantomile and Lunatea, whatever the hell Joka is, Klonoa’s origin, where Klonoa gets his sweet Pac-Man hats from, how Huepow and KOS summoned Klonoa to their worlds, how/if the handheld games fit anywhere in the canon, etc

Oh yeah and what the heck the movie was gonna be like :(

I cannot say the games themselves left me something to worry about, other than the uncertainty of a sequel to Klonoa 2. I don't think of it too much, but considering someone at Namco at least cared to put the series back into their spotlight, I'm positive that we still got an adventure on our hands.

I know this is kind of an 'older' topic but..

There is one thing that's concerning to me about Klonoa games, and I'm sure I'm probably not the only one whose wondered this, but.

If all of the Klonoa games are just Klonoa's dreams, then.. What is his actual life like? Like, outside of those dreams?

That's one thing that I find concerning about these games.

Nobody’s asking what the heck Klonoa even is?
It seems accepted that he’s a “cabbit”, but was there anything official that said this?

Namco staff never outright stated what he is, but apparently in some of the games he makes a cameo in, he is said to be some sort of cat creature. Klonoa's floppy and puffy ears probably give the rabbit impression to some people.

He is a mixture of a cat and a dog, the big ears and playful tail he keeps swinging should imply.
It is stated in the old Klonoa website.

The only concerns I had were if the Handheld games are getting better.  :bad_straight_face:
