Well, I run a home server, but no one knows the adress. Also, my windows updates are automatic. :D

I tried to update my windows and got the error as COM Surrogate has stopped working. And found this post when referring to solutions. After dealing with the bug, I updated my windows once and finally is turned off my windows update.

Time for Android! .. I'm kidding. Though I do have a back up linux on my windows installer it's self.


IF you want to stay on windows and are still getting annoyed by updates uh. either windows 8.1. Windows 10 enterprise which has less intrusive updates. Or that Windows 10 LTSB. Which I've not had time to test yet but I've heard it doesn't have near as much junk.
