Movie Requests
« on: March 11, 2015, 05:58:15 pm »
Okay so this is how this works. You want to see a movie? Is said movie added to the movie list? If not, all you need to do is request the movie in question and we may or may not add it to the list depending on these criteria:

  • No movies that are in theaters now
  • No recently released big hit movies
  • Obscure movies are recommended
  • Old anime is recommended
  • 80s and 90s live action films are acceptable
  • Bad movies are wanted
  • No NSFW/hentai (cussing is fine but no nudity/sex scenes)
If you're down with that, then go at it.

I'm guessing they have to be "child-friendly" and not rated R or NC-17

Generally speaking it needs to be PG-13 at most. Forum rules still apply.

And I assure you, some of these movies on this list really push it. I mean REALLY push it.

Alright, I got one, totally not biased, and completely unopiniated suggestion.

Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.

If that doesn't properly meet the criteria, I have an ACTUALLY unbiased suggestion: The Fantastic Adventures of Unico.

EDIT: Okay, I have some more movies that are guranteed to knock your sock off...for varying reasons.

* Felix the Cat: The Movie

* Felix the Cat: The Movie

* Titanic (as in, the cartoon knock-off. There's two of them, in fact...Not counting the sequel one of said knockoffs has. You'll know them when you see them.)

* Fern Gully 2

* Avatar: The Last Airbender

* Pom Poko

* Bionicle

* Pacific Rim

* Equestria Girls

* Super Mario Bros the Movie

* Nightmare Before Christmas

* Digimon the Movie

* Pokemon: the First Movie

* Warriors of Virtue

* A. I.: Artificial Intelligence

* Final Fantasy: the Spirits Within

* The Lego Movie

* Lilo and Stitch

* Thumb Wars

I apologize if I've suggested too many movies, but I just had so many ideas to mention that it'd be a shame to let them all go to waste.

I realize you haven't actually added ANY movie requests to the official movie list yet (and I doubt you would), but....since I'm not exactly being told that I'm suggesting too much...

*Howard the Duck

*Plan 9 From Outer Space

*Manos: the Hands of Fate

*Snata Claus Conquers the Martians

*Ghost Dad

*Megaman: the Movie (I'd question if fan movies are allowed, but you DO have that Sonic fan film listed on there...at least, I'm pretty sure that's what that 2013 is referring to.)

*Any mockbuster film. Seriously, take yer pick.

And...that's all I have for now. (And yes, I suggested those first two because Surreal brought them up.)

Are Akira and Hot Fuzz R rated? I'm not terribly familiar with the american ratings system but those are 2 of my favourite films.

-The Secret of NIMH

-The 2 Gurren Lagann movies

-Madoka Magicka: The Rebellion Story (Ehhh put the other flims on there as well if this is included thinking about it)

-The Sonic OVA got localised as a straight to video movie, so that counts i guess

-Up

-Foodfight

-Airplane

-Total Recall

-300

-Life of Brian

Also by extension of the Mockbusters one, The Little Panda Fighter in particular is a masterpiece of awkwardness.

EDIT: Bee Movie ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

EDIT II: EDIT HARDER: Oops should have checked the list
