No one has even posted Klonoa 1 Prototype testing video here yet whaat  :confused:
Well then while I am at home and awake I'll post some.

Also L1+R1 for main debug menu.
I think r1 is inf jump if I remember
Circle Makes Klonoa very fast :>
R1 or L1 "I forget which i'm still very sleepy" opens it's own little menu in game also.

On the 2nd controller / player 2. Pressing start opens a different debug menu that can adjust the camera. Cull distance and fog as well as move Klonoa to specific sections.

Probably works fine with all emulators. I was lazy and used epsxe. I used keyboard for 2nd controller.

I'm so amazed something like this has been obtained and preserved. I thought this was just another review copy or demo version that resembles the final game but nope, this is some real deal work in progress material. When Baladium exploded I was like "Oh, that's different then the other boss explosions" but then that floating orb appeared and a second phase of the fight began, my mind was so blown that the boss killed me because I wasn't expecting it. (The game's concept art showed this creature and yet I didn't actually think they programmed it in at one point!)

From the not-yet-refined music, to the changed sprites and textures, this prototype is like opening a treasure chest.
I also did a stream of me playing through the prototype!
If only we could figure out those inaccessible debug options but they might have only been accessible by the devs with their dev kits or something.

It has been out since the 17th of April as far as I know along with a number of other prototypes from project deluge.


Man this has been the most exciting thing for me in a long time.  :D

It will be a bit but I want to go through this prototype again :v The things going on in the Balidium battle make me wonder if there is another menu for controlling or setting the behavior of bosses.  :)

I messed around in debug features for like an hour and thirty minutes. The funniest thing was turning Pamela into Baladium lol (at 14:21).

Friendly Bali needs pets :) Also hmm I guess it wasn't just my emulator getting some of those bizarre graphical glitches as well as the music stuff going on in 5-2.

Does it work on the PS3's PS1 Classics emulator? That's how I play all PS1 games.
