Favorite dish?
« on: March 26, 2015, 01:17:58 pm »
Hey guys! I'm about to start studying Culinary and Commercial Foods soon and I started thinking about food in general, but then I started thinking about my favorite food, which probably has to be a tie between Green Bean Casserole and/or Tuna Casserole.

So it got me wondering, what are your guy's favorite food/foods?

Baked Tilapia or Swai fish with as much grease and oil drained out as I can and no breading and very light amounts of different seasonings. I can eat a good 3 pounds of that stuff in a single supper.
Other kinds of fish.

I like many sea food stuffs but don't remember names.

Also General Tso's chicken' some sort of black pepper spicy chicken and Kung Pao chicken.

From what I understand they're all over Quebec made in stands called Pouteries. Next time you go, you need to check it out. Oh, and you might wanna learn some French if you go into Quebec.

Huitlacoche, the mushroom of the corn, has a strange bitter taste, hard to compare it to something else

Well i do love me some poutine, but my all time fave food is Sztrapacska

http://pctrs.network.hu/clubpicture/5/7/4/_/nyogo__sztrapacska__574026_14672.jpg

It's a Hungarian dish. Dough made from potatoes is shredded into boiling water, cooked, then served with fried sour cream and bacon. Now being Hungarian myself i have a taste for these kind of foods, but i've never met anyone outside my family that's even heard of it, let alone likes it :/
