Klonoa Speedrunning?

I ordered a new PS2 & a capture card --

Does anyone have any experience? I think I remember hearing somewhere that emulator is optimal for speedrunning, but I really want to play it on PS2 so that I can also speedrun & record Klonoa 2! ;D

Oh!!! Also, does anyone know the link to that official Klonoa site? The japanese one with all of the footage of people speedrunning Balue's Tower.

Hello, pleased to meet you. Uhhhhh, i guess i like to draw traditionally a lot of Klonoa things, specifically for Whispers of Wind project, i make music for that too! Outside of the Klonoa speedrunning server, I don't think you'll find tons of people with running experience

Well, actually, Klonoa 2 on emulator is banned in the leaderboards, due to emulation inconsistencies and instability. But if you don't care about that, then you can play on anything you want really. I know someone who did a couple fulls runs on it. And it would probably  be a bit faster overall due to better loads

I think I remember this page, but I have no idea if it's still working, nor where to find it again on the official webside. Would love to give it a read again

It may be the siTe that originally hosted the page of every runner's Balue's Tower times from the competition, sadly it doesn't look like to be stored in there, if it isn't gone
