Here is the latest version of this game.

You need windows to run it. Unzip everything in the same folder and use the PLAY.BAT file to play.
Avoid the moos and try to reach the end of each level.
Be sure to bind buttons for jumping and "alternate fire" (moo jump button).
You can choose from 8 different worlds.
If you are interested in working with me on this in any way add me on skype (nub_hat) for easy communication, I will be happy to do all the work but I would love some ideas or a story of some sort.

New in this version is a hud graphic by Vincentmrl of klonoa holding the ring.

This should be far superior to the old versions but if you want any old versions just contact me.

Just an idea: make maps first, then think about graphics & stuff.

Also (if possible) change the engine. Quake and GoldSource engines are way better than Doom.

yea feel free to use it for anything, add me on Skype and ill send some slightly updated version over changed the physics slightly
current block for a new release is getting klonoas ring working so it could take a bit but I will keep you guys posted, once this is done it should go a lot faster adding new stuff

rup I only know this engine I would definitely be completely lost working with anything 3D, I think you will be surprised though this engine is very versatile. check back in a few months maybe it will be good

Yeah, I tried using it as a mod for FInal Doom in GZDoom, and it kind of works, but it messes up the title screen and menu, the levels have been replaced, there is only 1 moo in the level I tried and I can't attack it... I'm not sure how far you are with the mod, so maybe half of that stuff is to do with the game itself not having everything yet...

Is there any chance you can provide just a mod where it like replaces all enemies with Moos and have Klonoa's ring replace, say, the handgun or chainsaw, play Klonoa music and replace the textures with Klonoa themed ones?

be sure you are running the PLAY.BAT file to run the correct game.

Chex Quest GOTY every year.

Are you planning on making this mainly a platformer or a shooter? I mean Sonic Robo Blast 2 (Sorta) proved that you can use the Doom Engine to make a platformer, although it does support a fast paced sonic style A LOT more than it does a slower paced klonoa style. I'm also not too sure on what you can do with puzzles beyond the standard switches and levers, but I really don't know much about the Doom engine so whatever.
